German Energy Academy in Jordan Participates in the Uni Kids Program at GJU

The German Energy Academy in Jordan (GEA), in collaboration with the AEE Student Club-GJU, participated in the Uni Kids Program, “Little Professor”, held at the German Jordanian University (GJU) from July 20 to 24, 2025.

The Academy’s team represented by Eng. Mohammad Alshrouf, trainer at GJU, organized and delivered a combined theoretical and practical training session on solar energy and household bill analysis, targeting approximately 60 participants aged 14 to 16.

The training consisted of two main components: a theoretical segment that provided a simplified explanation of energy concepts, an introduction to the components of a solar energy system, and how it operates and a practical segment where participants learned how to read household electricity bills in a clear, simplified manner. In addition, students engaged in a hands-on demonstration of a stand-alone solar system, allowing them to explore its components and understand its real-life application.

It is worth noting that this participation comes as part of the pioneering role played by the German Energy Academy in Jordan in providing technical and vocational, training in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and energy auditing. This aligns with the Academy’s vision and mission to raise awareness and enhance capacities across all levels of the energy sector.
