German Energy Academy and GIZ Launch “GEA-IKI Project” to Advance Renewable Energy Training in Jordan

The German Energy Academy (GEA) in Jordan, in collaboration with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), successfully launched the “GEA-IKI Project” at Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) on February 25, 2025. Supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), the event marked a significant milestone in advancing renewable energy education and workforce development in Jordan.

Completion of the first Solar Photovoltaic Design Course funded by AGFE

The academy is thrilled to announce the successful completion of the solar photovoltaic design course, in collaboration with Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair Refugee Education Fund, with the success of all enrolled students in the course. The academy is proud of its students’ achievements and is excited to see their students employ this gained experience in the work market.

High-Level Delegation Visits German Energy Academy in Jordan

A high-level delegation from the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy of Egypt, along with H.E Eng. Amani Al Azzam from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Jordan, visited the German Energy Academy (GEA) in Jordan. The delegation, including Dr. Amgad Saied, Dr. Ahmed Mohina, and Mr. Hazem Abd Elhaleem, toured the GEA labs and engaged with trainees, gaining insights into the academy’s comprehensive curriculum and advanced training programs.

Our Photovoltaic (PV) Installation course has reached another milestone with the practical course on ‘Control Cables Glanding, Wiring, and Testing’ at the Electrical Training Center (ETC) of the National Electrical Power Company (NEPCO).
