The German Energy Academy in Jordan took part in the Innovative Energy Solutions Conference held at the German Jordanian University under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources. The event brought together leading experts and specialists in the energy sector from Jordan and abroad, alongside students from 16 Jordanian universities.
At the conference GEA’s Director, Eng. Hamzeh Buqaei, introduced the Academy, its mission, and the specialized training programs it offers. He encouraged students to engage with the Academy and explore its training opportunities, highlighting their vital role in enhancing technical training, building local capacities, and preparing a new generation of professionals in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
It is worth noting that the two-day conference focused on key topics such as solar energy, wind energy, smart grids, HVAC systems, and sustainable transportation. At the conclusion of the second day, students presented a series of innovative and practical recommendations and solutions aimed at improving system efficiency and benefiting the wider community.
