GEA Graduation Ceremony of First Batch
The German Energy Academy in Jordan (GEA) held on 14th February, at Al Hussein Technical University, its first graduation ceremony for 39 graduates, the ceremony attended by the Academy partners also different private and public entities in the energy sector in Jordan.
SMA training of trainers
The Academy in collaboration with SMA has launched the Training of Trainers course. The course focused mainly on different SMA products, their application on both on and off-grid projects, maintenance, and their components. The trainers gained the required knowledge to deliver such courses in the future.
PV Installation & Energy Efficiency Examination
By the end of both courses, PV installation, and Energy Efficiency, the students were able to take the exams that are accredited by the German Chamber of Commerce (AHK)
JREEEF Meeting
The President of Al-Hussein Technical University, Dr. Ismail Al-Hinti, the Director of the German Energy Academy, Eng. Hamza Al-Beqai, and the Academy team met with the CEO of the Jordan Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Fund, Dr. Rasmi Hamza and his team, at the German Energy Academy / Al-Hussein Technical University.
Course of “NABCEP® Photovoltaic Associate (PVA)”
This course is designed to prepare trainees for accreditation by The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP®); Trainees will acquire # the practical skills needed for the labour market in related fields and enable them to enter the North American labour market, including the accreditation exam to be held after completion of the course at the Academy site, so that successful trainees will receive an American certificate issued by NABCEP.

We are pleased to share with you the news of opening the energy efficiency program at the German Jordanian University offered by the German Energy Academy in Jordan, with the support of the Jordanian German Energy Partnership Office in cooperation with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
Technical Visit in Cooperation with HTU and BSW
The German Energy Academy in Jordan is building future cooperation with German energy institutions; German Solar Industry Association BSW organized a tour for professors and technicians of Hussein Technical University HTU which included a visit to SMA Solarwatt Hoppecke BAE Valentin Enpal.
