The German Energy Academy in Jordan (GEA) took part in the 14th Career Day held at the German Jordanian University (GJU) under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Khalid Al-Bakkaar, Minister of Labor, with the participation of more than 90 local, regional, and international companies.
GEA Participates in the Innovative Energy Solutions Conference at GJU

The German Energy Academy in Jordan took part in the Innovative Energy Solutions Conference held at the German Jordanian University under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources. The event brought together leading experts and specialists in the energy sector from Jordan and abroad, alongside students from 16 Jordanian universities.

On the sidelines of this year’s 11th Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue (BETD) at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin, the German GEA partner German Solar Association (BSW) and its member company RENAC AG organised a high-level expert roundtable on ‘Academic Workforce Development for the Global Energy Transition’.
German Energy Academy and GIZ Launch “GEA-IKI Project” to Advance Renewable Energy Training in Jordan

The German Energy Academy (GEA) in Jordan, in collaboration with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), successfully launched the “GEA-IKI Project” at Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) on February 25, 2025. Supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), the event marked a significant milestone in advancing renewable energy education and workforce development in Jordan.
Completion of the first Solar Photovoltaic Design Course funded by AGFE

The academy is thrilled to announce the successful completion of the solar photovoltaic design course, in collaboration with Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair Refugee Education Fund, with the success of all enrolled students in the course. The German Energy Academy team attended a 3-days seminar at the German Jordanian University focused on “Open-Source Distribution Grid Modelling and Simulation with Python.”
First-Ever EDGE Expert Training Course Offered by German Energy Academy in Partnership with Jordan Green Building Council

The German Energy Academy in Jordan, in collaboration with the Jordan Green Building Council, successfully offered the EDGE Expert training course for the first time. The course was led by Arch Maysoon Al-Khuraissat, an expert with numerous international accreditations in the green buildings sector.
High-Level Delegation Visits German Energy Academy in Jordan

A high-level delegation from the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy of Egypt, along with H.E Eng. Amani Al Azzam from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Jordan, visited the German Energy Academy (GEA) in Jordan. The delegation, including Dr. Amgad Saied, Dr. Ahmed Mohina, and Mr. Hazem Abd Elhaleem, toured the GEA labs and engaged with trainees, gaining insights into the academy’s comprehensive curriculum and advanced training programs.
