Photovoltaic Systems Design Program for Refugees and Host Communities

The German Energy Academy in Jordan, in collaboration with and supported by the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation for Education and Al-Hussein Technical University, offers this intensive specialized course in photovoltaic (PV) systems design. This course aims to provide trainees with the theoretical and practical
knowledge required to design PV systems professionally. The course will be delivered by certified trainers from the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who have specialized qualifications and experience in the field. Trainees will acquire practical skills essential for the job market, enabling them to become certified PV system designers using various software tools. A final exam will be held to assess the trainees and award them a certificate of expertise.

Instructors:

  • Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Ateili
  • Engineer Hamza Al-Banna
  • Engineer Radi Al-Rashid
  • Engineer Ahmed Azzam

Target Audience: Technicians and graduates in electrical, mechanical, and energy engineering. The
course content will be offered at an introductory level, serving as an important first step in preparing any
technician or engineer to enter the field of solar energy.
